Was there ever a New Year so anticipated and welcomed?  It was great to wave goodbye to 2020 but this start to 2021 has still been challenging   However, I have a plan.

As artists though we have enough challenges at times but we’ll rise to this one too.  I was able to continue teaching my classes through zoom and these proved to be productive and also sociable.  The meeting and connecting with eachother was extra important and so were the free drawing sessions which proved to be a  diversion from the chaos around us.

Although we all still have a lot to deal with, most of us have time to plan, to set goals, to create.  I’ve been researching, topping up my own skills and making art without expectations.  I’ve been designing courses too.  There’s never been a better time to learn and improve  We have the time and the space and to improve we should be  practicing.  Paint, draw, experiment every day.  I’m  doing it and I’m keeping up my studies.   This will I hope make me a better artist and teacher.

Covid interrupted an exciting project that my classes had to put on hold.  Thinking outside the box today we’ve decided to put it into motion again.  Watch this space…

My zoom classes will also be restarting at the end of the month.  These classes are suitable for everyone from complete beginners to more advanced painters.  The numbers are limited and so if you’re interested in more details,  please contact me at:

So, it’s a new day, it’s a new dawn – let’s be positive and look forward to enriching others and our own lives.
